EnglishThe names of the semifinalists of the International Competition of Young Designers «Fashion For Future», organized by the KAZAKHSTAN FASHION WEEK ASTANA together with the European Institute of Design IED, have been announced.
They are Nurdaulet Beketaev, Azamat Gazizov, Aidana Minaydarova, Malika Yussupova, Dias Amenov, Gulnaz Baitleuva, Olga Kadyrova, Lyudmila Kulbako, Irina Kholodova, Darya Lukicheva, Damir Baychapanov, Assel Kudaibergenova, Zhanbota Sagynai, Zuhra Aikenova and Marhamat Umarova.
Competition jury: IED creative director – Istituto Europeo di Design (Italy) Giovanni Ottonello, stylist and fashion editor (Italy) Riccardo Terzo, general producer of KFW ASTANA Irina Baizhanova, dean of the faculty “Light industry and design” of ATU Raushan Zhilisbayeva, designer Aida Kaumenova, «Olga Kim Jewelry», «BROSH», «Anthena Clothing» brand designer Olga Kim, art director and brand ambassador of KFWA in Europe, «KKapsule» founder, an international model Korlan Madi.
The final of the Fashion For Future competition will be held on November 21 in the Astana as part of the KAZAKHSTAN FASHION WEEK ASTANA. The winners will receive a grant to study at the IED Summer School of Fashion in Italy in 2019, as well as a cash prize from Fashion Week in the amount of 300,000 tenge.
